Penny AndristPenny Andrist and Gail Benson will be joining our staff as the Co-coordinators of the Children and Young Adult Ministry.
Both hold Master’s degrees and have been working and teaching as a team for over twenty years, traveling across the country delivering keynotes, workshops and concerts for children and adults. Their work focuses on creating and developing interactive educational materials and experiences for children.
Best known as “Penny and Pals”, they have written and recorded five albums and one DVD of award-winning music and video, perform over 120 shows per year and are popular presenters for both youth and adult workshops. And, in their spare time …they can often be found writing songs, scripts and curriculum for other groups.
Penny and Gail felt the quiet tug of God’s call to serve First Presbyterian through the children’s ministry. They are eager to use their education and experience in service to the children of our
church. As they say, “We are excited to be part of the dynamic ministry team at First Pres. It’s a great time of growth and development in our children’s ministry – we’re ready and waiting to greet those eager little faces in the Fall!”
