New Members Class
If you or someone you know has been a guest to our church and would like to become a member, our next new members’ class will be Sunday, April 13, beginning at 10:00 AM, pausing for worship at 11:00, lunch at noon and concluding around 2:00 PM. These new members will be welcomed in the 11:00 worship service on April 20. Upon joining the church, each new member is given a sponsor in the congregation who helps the new member become better assimilated into the life and work of the church.

Expectations of Members
This fall Session and Staff studied The Missional Church through the text, “Shaped by God’s Heart," by Milfred Minatrea. In it he writes, “Authentic discipleship is costly – it accepts responsibilities…Missional churches are high-threshold churches; they clearly communicate the responsibilities of church membership.” At it’s November meeting, session has adopted the following as expectations of members. They are as follows:
- Acknowledge and embrace your faith, living your life in the name and love of Jesus Christ.
- Attend worship services regularly.
- Contribute financially to the operation and ministries of this church.
- Live the mission and vision of the church.
- Serve this church and the community by listening to how God is calling you to participate.
- Be hospitable and inclusive to new members and guest.
- Continue to grow in faith through participation, education, volunteerism, mission and fellowship.
