Here's what's coming up with the youth of First Presbyterian!

April will see us relaxing and enjoying times of fellowship and regrouping. You will want to watch your mailbox and the bulletins on Sundays, as well as the Messenger.

May we start to get antsy for summer. But we still have a few things left to do! This year we will have a Senior Citizen Appreciation Dinner for our Senior Citizens of First Presbyterian Church on May 4th. This dinner is just one way we can show our appreciation to those who have come before us, and have led the way! We will again have a Senior Recognition Sunday. We will honor our Senior High graduates, College graduates, Trade School graduates, and also those who have completed their Master or Doctorate degrees on Sunday, May 18th at the 11:00AM worship service. So let the office know who you are so we can celebrate with you!

If you are a 4th or 5th grader, this is your group! This group is parent-led and usually meets once a month. We have had some fun times this year! Watch your mail boxes for more information, or contact Jeff Olson at 293-6311 or jolson@firstpresfargo.org.

Confirmation

"The church nurtures those baptized as children and calls them to make public their personal profession of faith and their acceptance of responsibility in the life of the church" (Book of Order W-4.2003). Our confirmation class is offered to ninth graders as they discern and profess their faith and their desire to become members of the church. We see it as one component on their educational journey to membership and to a fuller life with Christ. Classes will begin in September and continues weekly until Confirmation Sunday in the spring. Students are invited and encouraged to participate in other church activities including Sunday morning gatherings, Sunday night youth group, choirs, and worship. All ninth graders are invited to join. If you have a teenager in 10-12 grade wishing to participate in confirmation, please contact Jeff Olson.
