Last spring, the Sunday morning Adult Bible Study read through Genesis. This was an opportunity to explore the details and themes of the first book of the Bible. All levels of background are welcome. The class is lecture based with some audience participation. Each class is designed to be complete on its own.
If you are interested, last summer's sermon series was on the Book of Genesis as well. Both the spring lectures and the summer sermons from 2023 are available on the FPC App, which is available from the App store. Search 'First Presbyterian Fargo' and select the app option with the PCUSA logo.

Men's Bible Study

The men's Bible study wraps up its study of Genesis on Tuesday, May 14th, 6:45 -7:45 a.m., in the Jennie Roberts Room. Intended to help men understand what the Bible says in relation to what is expected of a Christian man, the May meeting will feature a couple short videos on Genesis by Oxford theologian N. T. Wright, with group discussion to follow. Pastries and coffee will be served. No advance preparation is required. Questions? Please contact Bruce Maylath at [email protected].

Presbyterian Women

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, Presbyterian Women commit to nurturing our faith through prayer and Bible study, supporting the mission of the church worldwide, working for justice and peace, and building an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom. Our upcoming bible study is titled Sacred Encounters: The Power and Presence of Jesus Christ in Luke-Acts. Won’t you consider joining us in person?
Circles meet April 16 in the Jennie Roberts Room; Naomi/Ruth Circles will meet at 9:30am and the Rachel Circle will meet at 1:00pm. All women of the church are invited to attend. If you are interested or have any questions, please call Paula Christensen at 701-219-5795 or fill out the form below.

The Pilgrimage

The Pilgrimage is an adult faith formation ministry which equips disciples of Jesus Christ to grow deeply in relationship with the living and present Lord.  The Pilgrimage gives you the tools and teaches you the disciplines needed to grow as a disciple of Jesus.  This is accomplished in several ways: through inspiring programs and education, support within a small-group ministry, and regular opportunities to travel to sacred sites for those who have completed pre-requisites. Those who commit to The Pilgrimage are making a commitment to a process of faith-formation which promises a deeper transformation and a richer experience of faith.
